Raspberry Cream Muffins at the Farmers’ Market at Sandpoint

Raspberry Cream Muffins

Raspberry Cream Muffins

Pauper’s Candles is debuting its Farm Baked Goods.  Raspberry Cream Muffins are on the menu.  I found this recipe and love it.  We have raspberry bushes on our property and are able to use our own berries in these muffins and our “ladies” chickens supply our eggs.  I also use organic cane sugar, organic white wheat flour, non-GMO baking powder, real butter, and kosher salt.  My thoughts are if I am going to make some baked goods, why not use the best ingredients as I can.  I love making good healthy yummy tasting food.

Here is the recipe for the Raspberry Cream Muffins.  You can make them yourself and enjoy them any time.  I know you will love these muffins!

First Farmer’s Market at Sandpoint for 2015

My first Farmer’s Market in Sandpoint was great.  The weather for May in Sandpiont, Idaho is always up for debate.  But this last weekend, one could not have asked for better weather.  It was in the low 70’s and there was a slight breeze.  People were enjoying themselves, while walking through the market.  It was what I call a perfect market day!

Blackberry Sage is the candle scent of choice so far this year.  This scent is a little sweet with a touch of “zing” to it.  I have it in my Herb N’ Garden Line.  You can visit my “Square Store” for ordering this candle.

Pauper’s Candle Company is looking forward to a great market season.  If you are ever driving through Sandpoint, Idaho be sure to stop by the Farmer’s Market that runs on Saturdays from 10am-1pm.  I would love to see you there.

OSU Mom’s Weekend: Thank You

Pauper’s Candles had a terrific show at OSU’s Mom’s Weekend.  The weather was perfect.  The crowds were great.  The customers were stellar.  The event coordinators were awesome.   To top off the weekend, I was able to see and stay with my parents.  My dad and mom helped me set up and my mom and I ran the show.

Ever since I have been doing craft/art shows my mom has assisted me whenever she can in my booth selling my candles. Being able to have my mom with me has been such a blessing.

Also in the middle to the show, I received a text.  It was from my husband who was not able to go with me because he was working.  My husband had written me a poem and texted it to me.   It was the icing on the cake you could say to make this show a great experience.
